I have a fresh ATK engine waiting to be swapped in to my car, along with freshly rebuilt pair of DSP T28/T25 turbos. The questions are:1) On the owner's manual for the ATK engine, it states that I need to get the heads retorqued after the break-in period is over. Is this really necessary, or just ATK covering their ass for warranty reasons, when I get it done, how many hours in labour should I expect to pay for the prcedure? 2) The manual also states that I should not drive over 55mph until the break-in period is over, the problem here is that my car is currently in Buffalo and I have to get it to Toronto, and it'll be a 150mile trip of highway driving to go home. I would like to know if I can go up to 70mph on the highway for the trip home, just so I can keep up with traffic, but once I reach home the rest of the break-in will be done on city streets with speeds below 55mph. TIA.
